Advertiser Portal
Give your sponsors their own dashboard to view campaign performance
Advertiser Portal
The Advertiser Portal lets you share campaign stats with your sponsors without giving them access to your full dashboard. Each sponsor gets a private link to view their own performance data.
How It Works
- You create an advertiser profile for your sponsor
- BannerTrackr generates a unique portal link
- You share this link with your sponsor
- They can view their impressions, clicks, and CTR anytime
No login required for sponsors — they just use their unique link.
Creating an Advertiser
Step 1: Add an Advertiser
- Go to Advertisers in your dashboard sidebar
- Click "Add Advertiser"
- Fill in the details:
- Name — Contact person's name
- Company Name — The sponsor's business name
- Email — Their email address (for notifications)
- Click Save
Step 2: Link Placements to the Advertiser
- Go to Placements
- Edit the placement for this sponsor
- Select the Advertiser from the dropdown
- Save the placement
Now all stats for that placement will appear in the advertiser's portal.
Step 3: Generate a Portal Link
- Go to Advertisers
- Click on the advertiser
- Click "Generate Portal Link"
- Copy the link
The link looks like: https://bannertrackr.com/portal/abc123xyz...
What Sponsors See

Choose Date Ranges
Sponsors can filter stats by:
- Last 7 days
- Last 30 days

Best Practices
When to Create Advertisers
Create an advertiser profile when you:
- Start a new sponsorship deal
- Have a sponsor with multiple campaigns
- Want to share professional stats
Sharing the Link
Send the portal link via email with context:
Hi [Sponsor Name],
Here's your BannerTrackr portal to view your campaign performance: [Portal Link]
You can check impressions, clicks, and CTR anytime. The link is private to you.
Let me know if you have questions!
Multiple Placements
If a sponsor has multiple ad spots:
- Create one advertiser profile
- Link all their placements to that advertiser
- They'll see all campaigns in one portal
Campaign End Dates
Set end dates on placements so sponsors can see when campaigns expire. This appears in their portal alongside the renewal request button.
Portal vs Reports
| Feature | Advertiser Portal | PDF Reports |
|---|---|---|
| Real-time data | Yes | Snapshot in time |
| Access | Link-based | Email/download |
| Date filtering | Yes | Fixed range |
| Best for | Ongoing access | Formal reporting |
Use the portal for ongoing sponsor access. Use Reports for formal end-of-campaign summaries.
Troubleshooting
Sponsor says link doesn't work?
- Check if the link was revoked
- Make sure they have the complete URL (no missing characters)
- Try generating a new link
Stats not showing?
- Verify placements are linked to the advertiser
- Check that the placements have tracking active
- Make sure there's data for the selected date range
Multiple sponsors, one placement?
Each placement can only be linked to one advertiser. If you rotate sponsors, update the advertiser assignment when campaigns change.
